About the Business
Gilling Dod's architectural portfolio extends nationwide, well beyond its early roots in the mercantile evolution of Victorian Liverpool. The Practice's heritage stretches back to 1882 when William Willink opened the first office in Lord Street, Liverpool.
Over the ensuing years the Practice went on to be involved in some of Liverpool's finest buildings. Perhaps the most famous being the Cunard Building.
Moving forward into the 21st Century, the Practice has grown into a major consultancy delivering assured and significant projects throughout the whole country. Working from our Cruck Barn premises in the glorious Lancashire countryside, we draw our dedicated staff from all parts of the northwest. Our rural location, unique environment and friendly, easy going atmosphere make it an enjoyable place to do business. We also do 'good biscuits'! These relaxed surroundings, however, do not compromise our professional and committed approach to our business and clients.
