About the Business
Hoole and Walmsley Architects was established in 2006. The principal Directors are Karen Hoole and Jacqui Walmsley. The practice has a desire to develop architecture that not only arises from an in- depth dialogue with clients but is challenging, practical and site specific whether it be a rural or urban landscape. The work of Hoole & Walmsley has been recognized with two RIBA/RSAW awards for Architecture at the Welsh Architecture Awards 2014. Every project is unique and is built upon a strong collaboration with the client and other professionals to create the best design solutions for a site. The practice specializes in housing and hopes that its work will become a model for future housing developments, demonstrating that quality, privacy and outdoor space can all be achieved within the density of existing urban housing environments.
