About the Business
Nigel Stock qualified in 1982 from the University of Sheffield. He was awarded an MA for his dissertation on the relationship between large scale entertainment planning and urban design and a Carpenters Company Scholarship that enables young Architects to work, teach and travel in the USA. In Philadelphia he worked for Dagit Saylor Architects, a medium size, design led, practice specialising in design for Education. After 10 years wide ranging experience in the UK with employers including DEGW, a practice known for their pioneering work in user led design, he established his own practice in London in 1992. He was a consultant within Amalgam, a group of collaborating independent consultants providing design strategy and implementation in architecture, interior, product, graphic and exhibition design. In 2002 he relocated to the South West.
