About the Business
Partner Glen McGowan was awarded a Master's Degree in Historic Building Conservation, from the University of York this month with Distinction. The three large areas of structural glazing were installed in the Public Toilet and Retail Unit, at St Leonard's Place, last week using spider cranes to negotiate the tight working environment. Ravage Productions captured the whole thing beautifully on camera. Work is progressing on the Public Toilet and Retail Unit at St Leonard's Place, which is due to open at Easter. Following a successful funding application, work has now started on the refurbishment of The Old Girls School in Sherburn-in-Elmet. The building has been 'saved' from possible demolition by a group of passionate local people and will now be developed to benefit the community. To kick start the new year Ley Hall is due to commence on site with Transcore Ltd. acting as the Main Contractor.
