Yesterday South Gloucestershire Council granted a resolution for approval on the application to build The Wave at Washingpool Farm in Easter Compton with a majority vote of nine to one with one abstention. APG Architecture are key partners involved with the project, providing a master plan with buildings sensitively set within a carefully designed landscape, which will comprise sensory gardens, woodland walks, wetland experience and wildflower meadows. At the centre of the development will be a freshwater lagoon, which will use Wavegarden technology by Instant Sport in Spain, to generate perfect surfing waves for both experienced surfers and beginners alike.
