Point Architecture

I am a fully qualified architect and the principal of Point Architecture. I have been training and working as an Architect since 1987, studying in Glasgow at the Mackintosh School of Architecture and working mainly in Glasgow, apart from a short stint in Tokyo and another in the Highlands of Scotland.

From 1999 until 2011, I worked in a large office in Glasgow, becoming an associate and gaining experience across a number of sectors with projects ranging in scale and complexity from small one-off houses for private clients to the £60M Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow.

Whilst relishing the challenge of larger projects I realised that I have a passion for domestic design and appreciate the benefits of working on smaller projects, deciding to start Point Architecture in the spring of 2011 to provide design and project management services to homeowners who want simple, beautiful homes that do not cost the earth.
