About the Business
Alison had worked for the preceding ten years for a large Cambridge practice that includes healthcare in its list of specialities. During her time there she was the project architect on many multi-million pound hospital projects. It was the wide range of experience, the many skills and the strong links to local and regional contractors and clients that were acquired and developed during the previous years that inspired Alison to set up her own practice. We pride ourselves in achieving good architectural design by having an innovative approach to each of our client's specific requirements.
Our ethos is to create interesting spaces from uncomplicated architecture. Simplicity offers benefits on many levels, not only in the construction process, but also in the clarity with which the building can be understood. Whilst architecture has a fundamental responsibility to accommodate, it also has a duty to explain and not confuse.
