
Stephen is a fully qualified architect. He studied at Newcastle University, before starting at his first practice in London in 1999. After gaining considerable experience in different sectors atseveral practices, Stephen returned back to Devon in June 2007 where he worked for several of the South West's top practices before setting up on his own. THe practice strives to provide the Client with a well conceived and thought out solution to meet their requirements.

After many years in the building industry, it was time to start up in business. Having gathered together a vast knowledge and experience it was to be the start of a business that would provide apersonal, efficient and friendly service for all types of projects, liaising with clients, council officials and contractors to ensure smooth running of projects.

Field Studio is a small architectural practice based in Devon run by James Risebero BA(Hons) BArch RIBA. James has worked previously in some of the UK's most prestigious firms including Foster andPartnes and pioneers of environmental design, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. In Devon James spent several years working for Gillespie Yunnie Architects on a range of projects, many involving the re-use of historically significant and listed buildings.
