Established in 1997 as an architectural practice, we maintain a rigorous approach developed through years of experience working alongside clients with high aspirations, often on difficult sites, strict programme deadlines and budgets. Success has been achieved by gaining a thorough understanding of client needs, detailed knowledge of the building type, disciplined and intellectual analysis of the context, and by producing imaginative responses and creative solutions.
This we can do, and would like to introduce ourselves. Links Architecture Ltd, Architects and Surveyors, are based in Kendal and Bolton, covering Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales. We arekeen to meet new customers and carry out a first time viability study, which is quite often free of charge. The initial study determines the brief and scale through production of a sketch scheme, and we comment on the planning position.

All buildings challenges suggest a variety of solutions, depending upon the needs and pocket of the Client. For me, the tread is traced in the building traditions of a given area. Initially we talk about your requirements and look at the site and then we prepare initial designs for discussion and present them as 3-dimensional drawings. From there, we make your planningapplication for you, establish the budget and help to appoint a builder. During the build stage we manage the building contract and carry out the site inspections you need to develop the property of your dreams.
For many people, undertaking a building project can be a daunting experience. By making the process transparent and inclusive, I aim to forge a trusting relationship with you, make your experienceenjoyable, and produce a project that meets, and hopefully, exceeds your expectations.
