This location gives us an excellent base for project opportunities throughout the southwest as well as for schemes basedfurther into the southeast and midlands. The practice provides architectural services as well as offering town planning advice and sustainability consultancy either as a complete package or as standalone services.

Drummonds is an RIBA Chartered Practice initially established in January 2010. The practice was founded by David Drummond, an RIBA registered Architect, who relocated from London to Dorset to pursuehis interest in traditional vernacular architecture. David graduated from Glasgow in 1991 and after qualifying as an Architect he went on to work for local practices in Scotland before widening his experience by joining Albert Speer and Partners ASP based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Prewett Bizley Architects has gained planning permission for a new low-energy house on a beautiful wooded site on the banks of the river Exe in Devon. The timber-framed house will be built tonear-Passivhaus standard, with large areas of glazing to take advantage of solar gain and the view across the river. Work is due to commence in the Summer.
Alchemilla Architects Ltd is a RIBA Chartered Practice based in rural Somerset in the Blackdown Hills with easy access to Taunton and Chard and most of the South-West, currently working as far afieldas Cornwall and Oxfordshire. Our work ranges from extensions and refurbishment projects to single houses and small housing estates. A development of high-end holiday lets, a conversion of a listed building to offices and a swimming pool are part of our current workload.

I undertake all types of project, taking you through the planning process, to achieve the planning permission that you require. Production of working drawings in accordance with the BuildingRegulations. I can also set up and run the contract with your building contractor, supervising the works as required. I also retain a list of Building Contractors with whom we have a successful working relationship for inclusion on your tender list should this be required.
We are a well established Chartered Architects practice located in Castle Cary, Somerset since 1987.
