The managing director of the practice is a registered architect and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects with over 20 years of experience inproviding professional architectural services. He has worked for a number well known architectural practices in South West England and South Wales before setting up his own architectural practice in 2010.

I qualified in 1966 from Bristol University and am now in practise as Ronald Shirley Chartered Architects in Wotton-Under-Edge, Gloucestershire. I have been in practise for over 30 years and am aMember of the Royal Institute of British Architects and also hold a degree of Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) awarded by Bristol University. I hold a Diploma in Architecture awarded by the same University.
Jonathan Lees Architects LLP is an architectural practice based in Bristol and Mid-Wales. We specialise in traditional techniques of hand drafting, painting and practical model making to helpvisualise our designs and to develop the initial concept through to construction. We undertake domestic, public and commercial commissions and focus on high quality design and development of projects through careful planning and meticulous detailing. Both Partners are co-founders of Jonathan Lees Architects.
Liz Thomas is an independent, chartered architect based in Bristol. She specialises in the extension, conversion and environmental upgrading of domestic property and has extensive experience ofworking on historic buildings. Recent projects include the design of an accessible apartment in Hertfordshire and the conversion of a barn into a large family house in Monmouthshire.

Marc-Louis Gani was born in Nottingham and had an informal apprenticeship accompanying his Architect father on to building sites and helping out in the family firm from age 14. Educated at CambridgeUniversity (Pembroke 1995-8) and Oxford Brookes (1999-01) he then spent time in the States and in Paris, before settling in Bristol where he worked for various practices including Ferguson Mann Architects.
