Founded by Allister Godfrey in 2005, Allister Godfrey Architects Ltd has built a reputation for the design of bespoke buildings throughout England. Good client relationships are central to both thephilosophy and success of the practice. We wholeheartedly believe that design is a reciprocal process between client and architect, so we listen carefully to our clients to help shape and create the spaces they would like to live in.
We don't have a practice style, follow architectural fashion, or apply standard solutions. We measure the success of our solutions by their robust, timeless simplicity, and the theme of our portfoliois variety. This is instinctive for us, and we have continually collaborated with our clients, planners, other professionals, and builders on the many hundreds of commissions we have undertaken since the practice was founded in 2000.
Habitar Architects prides itself on a high level of integrity to the craft of building. Experience has made us better able to translate the client's brief into architectural objects that maximise thedesign possibilities and innovations within any economic frameworks. We are always happy to explore new building technologies! My South American roots have given me a Spanish influence and easy going nature and I enjoy exploring ideas and trying new techniques in building.
Our architecture is person-centred, site responsive, carefully detailed and committed to innovation and quality. Our aim is to exceed client expectation. Our designs have been recognised by severalawards and nominations including short-listings for two RIBA Awards, Architects Journal Small Project Short-listing, Evening Standard Housing Awards, and two Civic Design Awards.

Although the name of the practice has changed over the years its traditions of high quality work and a personal service have been maintained.
We are an architectural practice based in Oxford, providing a personalised service for homeowners, businesses and public sector organisations. By working closely with you during all stages of the design and construction process we ensure delivery of a design that meets your requirements, on time and within the required budget.
There is only one way to get a fixed price, and that is to give tendering builders accurate and highly detailed information from which to quote. This information needs to provide far more detail thanthat simply required for building regulations approval and must include a full specification. At Crawford Bond Architects this level of information is all we produce, even for smaller projects.
